Souper Bowl of Caring, Thru Feb. 5, 2012

BPC Youth Support Souper Bowl of Caring

Please donate today!

More than 20 years ago, the Souper Bowl of Caring began with a simple prayer from a single Youth Group:

“Lord, as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those without even a bowl of soup to eat.”

Since that day, more than $81 million has been raised for local charities across the country through Souper Bowl of Caring.

Please join with the BPC Youth Group in helping to collect cans of soup or donations of money to support our local foodbank.

BPC On A Mission…

June 26, 2011

From the Outreach Committee…

Living Waters for the World is the global mission resource of the Synod of Living Waters (Presbyterian Church USA) who welcomes churches of all denominations and civic organizations to participate in this life-changing work.

Last year, The Bellevue Presbyterian Church Outreach Committee decided that we would participate in a Living Waters for the World mission trip. There were so many people who responded that after prayerful consideration we decided that we were being led to have TWO mission teams.  This is a great leap of faith and depends on the continuing support of our congregation over the next several years as well as the participation and support of Hillwood Presbyterian who will be our mission partner. It also requires that we be good stewards of our financial resources.  To that end, we will be able to underwrite the majority of the  training expenses (Clean Water U) of only part of the team – those who will be team leaders.

Sept. training:
Steve Tudor
Christy Smith
Kristi Shay-Moore
Gene Gough

Oct. training
Dennis DeBlock
Phillip Dean
John Tudor
Janet Tudor

From Hillwood, Martha Johnston and Rik Roquie are both already trained.

Team members:  Sally Slayden-Berry, Linda Gough, Tami Lambert.

Please be in prayer for our leaders and our teams as we prepare to reach out to others in the world with clean, life-giving water.
