The story of Bellevue Presbyterian Church began in April of 1966 when Nashville Presbytery purchased a tract of land at the intersection of Highway 70 and Cross Timbers Drive. In January of 1967, under the leadership of Organizing Pastor, the Rev. David C. Duncan, interested persons from the community and from other Presbyterian churches began to gather regularly for worship. Later that same year, on October 22, 1967, Bellevue Presbyterian Church was established as a congregation within the Presbyterian Church in the United States with sixty-two charter members, several of whom are still active in the church today. Bellevue Presbyterian Church has been blessed with dedicated members, faithful pastors, and Christian educators who have nurtured one another in the faith and have encouraged over 1,500 persons to become part of our church family over the past forty-plus years. Today, our current membership is approximately 300, plus children and youth. We invite you to join with us as we continue to grow and serve as Christ’s faithful disciples.

Our worship services are relaxed in style, while at the same time remaining faithful to our Presbyterian tradition. We view worship as an encounter with God and believe that the primary purpose of our worship is to celebrate God’s presence in our midst and God’s involvement in our lives. Bellevue Presbyterian Church is a very special place, and we invite you to ‘click through’ our website and learn more about us and our ministry. We also invite you to worship with us and to become a part of our community of faith.
